- Boston 3G is excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for our first book, a third generation anthology. We are looking for your best original non fiction work telling us how being a grandchild of a Holocaust survivor has shaped who you have become. Please ensure the voice is from the perspective of you, the grandchild of a Holocaust survivor. Submissions should be 500-3,000 words in length. We are particularly interested in hearing about your quirks, your challenges, your joys, and your interesting nuances growing up in a survivor family. Deadline for submissions: October 1, 2014. Submissions accepted into the book will receive a complimentary copy after publishing. We welcome submissions from nationwide and abroad as well!

Its Friday night, and the mood is right, candles lit, challah centerfold and Bubbe’s house is warm and bright. Grab a friend, or 2 or 4 (or come alone and meet other awesome people) and help us bring light to Survivors around Boston. Sign up to spend a Shabbat meal with a Holocaust survivor.
Boston 3G will provide the meal, you provide the company, and Bubbe will provide the stories of the past. Help us bring some company and the mitzvah of the Sabbath to Survivors throughout Boston. Sign up for more information!
Calling all Survivors!

On August 14th members of Boston 3G gathered to decorate Mezuzot and Challah covers for Holocaust Survivors. Together we painted and decorated over 100 pieces of beautiful Judaica for the survivors.
On Sunday August 18th, these gifts were presented to local Survivors at their semi-annual Cafe Europa gathering. They were thrilled and tremendously appreciative of the gesture. A huge thanks to all of the volunteer artists who participated in this event!
This event was in partnership with CJP’s ‘Summer of Service’ community service program.
